As you can see from my picture below, this ain't my first rodeo. I started in my father's construction and cabinet making business. We built offices and showrooms for Ford dealerships throughout the midwest. Son or no, my father did not suffer fools. His reputation and our dinner depended on the quality and timeliness of our work. He taught me how to build it right. He also took us to the Keys at least once a year. We often caught dinner, or tarpon, off a boat he had built.
When it came time to relocate to a place of our choosing, my wife and I naturally picked the Keys. We built the house on Cudjoe Key where I still live. This house proved to be my first major project in the Florida Keys. It has stood the test of time, including hurricane Wilma.
While I learned much at my father's side, I continue to expand, improve and update my skills. My current credentials include:
- State of Florida Certified Building Contractor,
License # CBC1260221.
- Fully licensed and insured.
- Member NKBA, National Kitchen & Batch Association.
